SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used in hot rolling plants. The distribution pipe for cooling metal products contains an inlet and a plug at its end, a connecting element for connecting a source of cooling fluid and supplying fluid to the distribution pipe. The outlets are located along the longitudinal extension of the distribution pipe through which the cooling fluid is discharged. On the inlet side there is a zone of change in the diameter of the pipe, which changes from a sector with a smaller diameter to a sector with a larger diameter following it in the direction of flow. In the area of the cross section of the flow in front of the mentioned plurality of outlet holes, a diaphragm wall is installed, which is a plate with a plurality of holes that extends over the entire cross section of the distribution pipe.

EFFECT: uniform flow velocity and pressure distribution inside the pipe are ensured.
