FIELD: anti-icing systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for heating conductive surfaces in aircraft (LA) and relates to the melting of ice formed on the surface of the conductive material of the aircraft. The system for heating the outer part of the aircraft contains two or more connecting strips located at a distance from each other and attached to the skin of the aircraft (volumetric medium). Each of the connecting strips contains a multilayer structure extending along the surface of the bulk medium, which, in combination with the bulk medium, forms a transmission line. The multilayer structure comprises a first dielectric layer over the bulk medium, a conductive layer over the first dielectric layer, a second dielectric layer over the conductive layer, and a conductive shielding layer over the second dielectric layer. Moreover, the power management system is connected to the conductive layer of each of the connecting strips and to the bulk medium, configured to heat the surface of the bulk medium by supplying electric current to the connecting strips.
EFFECT: achieved weight reduction, increased heating efficiency, safety and reliability.
