FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for weak water-saturated loess and clay soils. A method for strengthening weak water-saturated loess and clay soils includes injecting sodium hydroxide solution and quicklime into them. At the same time, a solution of sodium hydroxide 1.5-2 of normal concentration is injected into the soil in a mixture with 2 wt.% ground quicklime and 4-6 wt.% sodium sulphate with constant stirring of the resulting sulphate-alkaline suspension.
EFFECT: increased strength of water-saturated loess and clay soils.
