SUBSTANCE: communication method performed by the terminal (20) includes: receiving a first number of Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) communication layers configured for a portion of a frequency band (BWP) and a second number of MIMO layers configured for each cells, from the base station (10), wherein the second number of MIMO levels is a parameter different from the first number of MIMO levels; and controlling communication with the base station (10) using the first number of MIMO layers to reduce power consumption.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of communication in a wireless communication system through the use of a rational number of MIMO levels in the user device.
