FIELD: equipment for targeting guided munitions.
SUBSTANCE: guided munition guidance method consists in determining the coordinates of the target, illuminating the area of the underlying surface with laser radiation, whereas illuminating the target itself with laser radiation is excluded. The illumination is carried out by one laser beam, and after the launch of the guided munition, the laser beam converges to the target with a given angular velocity.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of pointing a guided munition at a target with different reflectivity of the underlying surface.
