FIELD: medicine, oncology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the outcomes of brain glial tumours in men before combined adaptive stereotactic radiotherapy (ASRT) with bevacizumab. The method is as follows: after surgical removal of the tumour and the day before the start of chemoradiotherapy, the level of soluble VEGF receptors, ng/ml, is determined in the patient's blood serum by enzyme immunoassay: sVEGFR1, sVEGFR2, sVEGFR3. The K coefficient is calculated as the ratio of the sVEGFR2 level to the sVEGFR1 level. An sVEGFR3 level of 80 ng/mL or more and a K-value of 135 or less predict post-treatment stabilization, an sVEGFR3 level of 52 ng/mL or less and a K-value of more than 135 predict a partial response to treatment, an sVEGFR3 level of 52 ng/mL or less and a K-value of 135 or less indicate complete response to treatment.
EFFECT: indicating the effectiveness of combined adaptive stereotaxic therapy with bevacizumab in males with malignant brain gliomas.
