FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely oncology and radiotherapy, and can be used for the combined treatment of patients with metastatic brain lesion with non-small cell lung cancer. A three-layer stereotactic mask is made for a patient with a histologically verified diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer and a metastatic brain lesion established by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain. In the condition of mask fixation, topometric spiral X-ray computed tomography (SXCT) of the brain is performed with an axial step of 1 mm. Then, with the help of software, multimodal images of MRI and SXCT are combined, delineation of critical structures and metastatic foci in the brain is carried out. With the help of radiotherapy software, the calculation and verification of the radiation therapy plan is carried out. The next day, a single intravenous infusion of bevacizumab is performed at a dose of 5 mg/kg. A day later, radiation therapy is performed in the mode of stereotactic radiosurgery on the area of metastatic lesion with a SBD of 20-24 Gy, TBD of 20-24 Gy No. 1 fraction.
EFFECT: method increases the efficiency and tolerability of stereotactic radiosurgery of metastatic brain lesion by non-small cell lung cancer due to the antitumor and decongestant effects of bevacizumab.
