SUBSTANCE: invention is related to an indicator device (100) of the parking brake of the railway system, which is configured to receive the first element of information representing the position of the unlocking part (29) of the railway brake system, through the status line (52), made with the possibility of connecting with the mentioned part (29), and at least one second element of information representing the supply and/or depletion of the service brake pressure chamber (13) and/or the parking brake pressure chamber (25) of said system through at least one other status line (53, 54) made capable of being connected to a service brake line and/or a parking brake line, said first piece of information is processed in conjunction with at least one said second piece of information to detect and indicate an applied or released state of said parking brake.

EFFECT: implementation of an indicator device designed to reliably indicate the state of the parking brake of the system, simplicity and ease of operation of this device.
