FIELD: modelling and controlling the movement of trains at the control station.

SUBSTANCE: system comprises means for controlling the movement of trains at the dispatch site, a digital dynamic model comprising the following elements interconnected by a computer network and connected to the train traffic control system by an external data transmission network: a control panel for simulating train traffic from the workplace of the train dispatcher, a digitalization unit for infrastructure facilities and trains of the dispatching section, a unit for simulating the movement of trains comprising a module for loading the position of trains at the time of the simulation start according to the executed schedule, a module for simulating the conditions for passing a train flow, a module for generating time signals for synchronizing the processes of simulating movement, a module for calculating the movements of virtual trains at each step of the simulation, a module for monitoring the occurrence of conflicts when skipping a train flow, an analytics module for developing optimization solutions in the event of conflict situations, a module for generating a model dispatch schedule, a unit for processing data obtained from simulating train traffic, and a unit for visualizing, filling and storing simulation results.

EFFECT: possibility of improving the qualitative and quantitative indicators of operational work at the dispatching site is achieved.
