FIELD: silicon-containing compounds.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for producing silicon-containing compounds and can be used in the chemical industry to obtain alkoxysilanes. A mechanochemical method for the preparation of alkoxysilanes from silicon and aliphatic alcohol is proposed, including preliminary activation of silicon by grinding it in an aliphatic alcohol medium in a liquid phase without heating in a reactor with a vibrofluidized bed of grinding bodies made of copper or a copper-containing alloy, and subsequent interaction of activated silicon with vapors of the corresponding alcohol at 200-300°C, which leads to the formation of alkoxysilanes.
EFFECT: significant reduction in the total time for the synthesis of alkoxysilanes, elimination of the phenomena of aggregation and agglomeration of silicon in the synthesis process and reduction in energy consumption.
