SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for conversion of heavy hydrocarbon raw materials containing a fraction, at least 50% of which has a boiling temperature of at least 300°C, and containing sulfur, a coke residue by Conradson, metals, and nitrogen, including at least two subsequent stages of hydroconversion on at least one three-phase reactor operating with a boiling layer in an ascending liquid flow or operating with a hybrid layer containing at least one hydroconversion catalyst in the form of extrudates or balls, hydroconversion stages can be separated by an intermediate separation stage, and at least one stage of de-asphalting of a heavy fraction of a flow coming out of hydroconversion with return of the entire fraction of de-asphalted oil (DAO) to the last stage of additional hydroconversion and/or to the intermediate separation stage.
EFFECT: simultaneous increase in a level of conversion and stability of liquid flows.
