SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to devices intended for switching (realization of modes of automatic disconnection, automatic reclosing, sectioning, and so forth) of overhead power transmission lines of medium voltage. This is achieved by the fact that the vacuum recloser consists of a switching module with vacuum chambers and current leads, which is enclosed in continuous insulation, auxiliary transformers, a control cabinet, which includes a control unit, power supply, relay protection and automation unit, channel-forming device, data collection and transmission device, wherein it contains three combined current and voltage meters, and said data acquisition and transmission device consists of a control module, a digital signal measurement unit, a counter and a communication module in the form of two RS-485 units, a global positioning system (GPS (1PPS)) and a GSM modem.

EFFECT: creation of compact recloser with high speed of data processing.
