SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used to correct human sleep parameters. Near a sleeping person, short pulses of an electric field of a rectangular shape are generated with a duty cycle of less than 5% and a duration of 20 ms to 1,000 ms inclusive. To improve the continuity of sleep, they are affected by pulses with a duration of 500 ms from the time a person sleeps and 60 minutes before the time of awakening. To reduce the average sleep latency, impulses with a stepwise increasing duration are applied during the first 20–30 minutes of sleep. To simplify awakening, pulses with a stepwise decreasing duration are applied during the last 30–60 minutes of sleep. To increase the duration of non-REM sleep in the second and third stages, pulses with a duration of 500 ms and 60 minutes before the awakening time are emitted. The system for correcting human sleep parameters contains a block for generating short pulses of an electric field of a rectangular shape with a duty cycle of less than 5% and a duration of 20 ms to 1,000 ms inclusive, a memory and control unit for the pulse formation unit, a time control unit for synchronizing the generated pulses with periods of falling asleep, deep sleep and/or awakening.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides correction of human sleep parameters due to exposure to the declared short pulses of a rectangular electric field.
