SUBSTANCE: designs of burning solid charges and fuel cells. A fuel cell made of solid fuel pellets consists of solid fuel pellets enclosed in a polymer shell, according to the invention, each pellet has a polymer shell, the shape of the pellets is spherical or oval-spherical, and in one fuel cell there are pellets of different sizes, forming uniformly randomly located intergranular cavities. The volume of intergranular cavities is from 10 to 20% of the fuel cell volume.
EFFECT: increase in the specific content of solid fuel with an extensive network of pores for gas permeability.
