FIELD: gas turbine units.

SUBSTANCE: method of operation of the combined utilization energy gas turbine plant of the compressor station of the main gas pipeline is carried out in two stages. At air temperatures above 10°C, the unit operates according to the first stage of the method, whereas water is supplied to the hydrophilic layer, due to its evaporation, the air is humidified in the wet channel, the metal wall is cooled and the air is cooled to the dew point in the dry channel, which is fed into the compressor of the drive gas turbine unit. The heat of the combustion products of the gas turbine in the regenerative air heater heats the air from the wet channel, expands it in the air turbine, its useful work is used to drive the compressor and the electric generator of the subatmospheric power plant that generates electrical energy. At air temperatures below 10°C, the unit operates according to the second stage of the method. The water supply to the hydrophilic surface of the M-cycle apparatus is stopped, air from the first channel of the apparatus is supplied to the compressor of the drive gas turbine unit. Water from the chemical water treatment plant is injected into the atmospheric air exiting the second channel of the apparatus, moist air is heated in the regenerative air heater with the heat of the expanded combustion products of the drive gas turbine plant, expanded in the air turbine of the subatmospheric power plant, cooled with water in the air cooler-condenser, the steam contained in it is condensed, the useful work of an air turbine is used to drive a compressor and an electric generator that generates electrical energy.
