FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: geophysical methods for testing structures for the purpose of non-destructive testing of the physical condition of buildings and engineering structures. In the method for determining the physical state of an object, which includes recording the vibrations of the object being examined using a pair of sensors, one of which is a reference one, normalizing the level of vibrations received from the sensors and calculating the amplitude spectra of natural vibrations of the object being examined, on the basis of which a map of the amplitude-frequency distribution is built and determine the physical state of the object, additionally record parasitic vibrations near the object under examination and subtract them from the obtained records of the object's vibrations when calculating the amplitude spectra, and establish the presence of standing waves, for which the received records are divided into fragments and added together. In addition to the map of the amplitude-frequency distribution, a map of the ratio of the velocities of longitudinal waves to transverse ones is built, for which the velocities of longitudinal and transverse waves are calculated. The change in the physical state of the object is recorded by installing a stationary sensor for recording standing waves, with a deviation of the natural frequencies of the object by more than 0.1%.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of localization of detected defects and a decrease in resource intensity.
