SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control over polymer sealing material layer application on forming drum and to method of self-sealing tires producing. According to method performing sealing set including non-sagging thermoplastic film and polymer sealing material layer, connected with non-sagging thermoplastic film and resting on non-sagging thermoplastic film of specified size. Sealing set is supplied into chute from top to bottom until forming drum. Sealing set front end is lowered on forming drum in radial direction outer surface so, that sealing set front end was supported on forming drum surface without jamming or displacement on forming drum surface. Front end is fixed on forming drum for elimination of sealing set and forming drum considerable displacements relative to each other.

EFFECT: invention enables higher quality of produced articles.
