FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: voltammetric method for the quantitative determination of carbosulfan in model solutions includes the use of an electrochemical cell with a carbon-containing working electrode, which is modified with nanocomposites by dropping the suspension onto the working surface. Silver chloride electrodes are used as an auxiliary electrode and a reference electrode. The electrodes are placed in an electrochemical cell with an alcoholic solution of 0.1 M potassium hydroxide with pH 10 as a background electrolyte, it is bubbled with gaseous nitrogen for 5 minutes, a cyclic voltammogram of the background electrolyte solution is recorded with a potential sweep rate of 100 mV/s from +0.2 to -1.4 V. Then the working electrode is removed and a model solution of carbosulfan is applied to its surface, which is dried for 10 minutes. The working electrode is again brought into the electrochemical cell with a supporting electrolyte, stirred for 10 seconds, the solution is calmed for 10 seconds, and cyclic voltammograms are recorded at a potential sweep rate of 100 mV/s from +0.2 to -1.4 V. The concentration of carbosulfan in the solution is determined by the intensity peak at -1.00 potential±0.05 on the voltammogram relative to the silver chloride electrode.
EFFECT: extension of the arsenal of electrical means for determining carbosulfan.
