FIELD: devices for spraying or spraying liquids.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol delivery device and a method for removing target compounds from the formed aerosol in said device. An aerosol delivery device comprises a reservoir with a liquid aerosol precursor composition; an electric heater in fluid communication with the reservoir and configured to evaporate the liquid aerosol precursor composition to form an aerosol; and a filter functionally located relative to the electric heater so that at least a portion of the generated aerosol passes through it, wherein the filter is configured to selectively bind one or more target compounds.
EFFECT: providing the ability to draw in an aerosol which maintains a constant aromatic profile during its use and is free from any undesirable impurities, especially impurities, which over time are able to change the aromatic profile of the aerosol.
