FIELD: security systems.
SUBSTANCE: tracking system that allows the centre to receive information in response to the detection of removal of wheels from vehicles. The tracking system comprises a magnetic region in at least one wheel contact bolt or a magnetic element located on at least one wheel contact bolt; a magnetic sensor for detecting the magnetic strength of the magnetic region in the wheel contact bolt or at least one magnetic element located on the wheel contact bolt. There is also a pressure sensor to detect the internal pressure in the pneumatic tire. The control unit, based on the information received from the magnetic sensor, detects a flat tire based on the information received from the pressure sensor. The communication unit is in communication with the control unit and allows information that is detected by the control unit regarding removal of the wheel contact bolt from the vehicle and/or a flat tire to be transmitted to a remote server.
EFFECT: improved protection against theft of vehicle wheels.
