FIELD: non-destructive testing.

SUBSTANCE: device for moving instrument sensors during non-destructive testing of magnetic materials contains a transport unit with a place for mounting the scanning unit and magnetic wheels, while the transport unit is made in the form of a rectangular trolley, consisting of two flexible parallel guides rigidly connected between are jumpers both in the front and in the rear parts of the trolley, at the ends of which magnetic wheels are installed to enable movement over the surface of the inspected part, which makes it possible to examine the circumferential welds of pipelines with a diameter of at least 700 mm and longitudinal seams, while the attachment point of the scanning unit, made with the possibility of replacing the sensor, is a U-shaped protrusions formed by deformation of the flexible guides.

EFFECT: enabling improved quality of diagnostics during non-destructive testing of magnetic materials.
