SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining an extract with antioxidant and immunomodulatory activity from the herb Cichorium intybus L. A method of obtaining an agent with antioxidant and immunomodulatory activity from the herb Cichorium intybus L. in a ratio of 1:10, filtration, concentration, purification and drying, while the air-dry herb Cichorium intybus L. is crushed to a particle size of 1 mm, mixed with an extractant — a mixture of water and ethyl alcohol with a content of the latter of 70 vol.%., extraction is carried out at 80°C for 1.5 hours once, after which the filtrate is separated, alcohol is distilled off from it, purified with ethyl alcohol 70 vol.% and filtered, concentrated and dried to a dry extract at a temperature of 60°C.
EFFECT: agent obtained by the above method is an effective antioxidant and has immunomodulatory properties.
