AMPHIBIOUS ROTARY SCREW PLATFORM Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC B60F3/00

Abstract RU 2803514 C1

FIELD: transport engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to amphibious vehicles for special purposes using rotary screw propellers, which have a high level of maneuverability on soft soils, ice and open water of unlimited depth due to low pressure on the ground and high traction properties and are intended for work in special conditions, for example, for offshore unloading of ships in the areas of the Northern Sea Route. Amphibious rotary screw platform contains head and trailer links connected by a towing device with the ability to rotate links relative to each other in a horizontal plane, includes central pontoons of each link, four side pontoons attached to them and four rotary screw propellers with a suspension, which ensures high profile and base maneuverability on snow, ice, slush and swamp; side pontoons are equipped with a hydromechanical drive to change their position relative to the central pontoon, and rotary screw propellers have a hydromechanical suspension that enables different positions of the propellers relative to the longitudinal axis of the machine under different conditions of its operation or relocation, for example, on a railway platform, as well as regulation of ground clearance; each rotary screw propeller has an individual electromechanical or hydromechanical power drive, which allows you to adjust the speed and direction of rotation of the rotors.

EFFECT: central and lateral pontoons, as well as rotary screw propellers, when submerged in water, provide sufficient displacement and buoyancy of the platform with a load, regardless of depth, and rotary screw propellers with a reverse drive provide the necessary navigation capabilities (rectilinear movement, maneuvering, including sideways movement).
