FIELD: technology for processing brown algae.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for obtaining extracts of Arctic brown algae Saccharina latissima, Laminaria digitata, Ascophyllum Nodosum or Fucus Vesiculosus includes preliminary swelling of brown algae biomass at a hydromodulus of 1:12 for 1 hour at room temperature, extraction of algae with a 40% by weight solution of isopropanol at 60°C for 1 hour at a hydromodulus of 1:20, centrifugation at 10595g for 5 minutes, decantation of the obtained extracts, drying at a temperature of 40°C and pressure ≤500 Pa and grinding to a powder state. It is also proposed to use the obtained extract of arctic brown algae as a biostimulator of plant seed germination by treating the seeds with an aqueous solution of the specified extract with a concentration in an aqueous solution of 0.001 g/l and keeping for 7 days at 23°C.
EFFECT: extracts of arctic brown algae with phytoactive properties.
