FIELD: space engineering.

SUBSTANCE: payload block for studying the phenomenon of contamination inside the instruments of CubeSat standard satellites contains an analytical module, a microcontroller, an on-board computer, a storage device, a real-time clock, and a reference voltage source. To determine the thickness of the contaminant film, a piezoresonance sensor is used based on an open quartz resonator, placed in the body of the device under study. The sensor is connected by a coaxial cable to a measuring generator, the signal from which is compared to the signal from a reference generator using a mixer and a microcontroller.

EFFECT: ability to carry out field studies of contamination of the internal devices sensitive to formation of films of sublimated substances over time is achieved.
