FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a needle for performing multifocal atraumatic biopsy. The biopsy needle consists of two components. The first component is a needle with a pencil-sharpened piercing part, in the lumen of which there is a channel that opens on the side of the needle with an oval hole 1.5 mm above the tip of the needle. The pencil-sharpened needle channel has a gentle exit, with an angle of 15°–20° to the needle axis. The second component is located in the needle channel — an extractor probe with a threaded tip, which is made of elastic-flexible steel. The pencil sharpened needle diameter ranges from 0.4 mm to 0.7 mm, with a length of 200 mm. The length of the extractor probe is 235 mm. The extractor, due to the gentle exit of the needle channel, is made with the ability to extend it out of the channel at an angle to the needle axis in such a way that when the needle is rotated along the axis, the tip of the extractor describes a circle with a diameter of up to 3 cm to collect material from points around the inserted needle within a radius of 1.0–1.5 cm depending on the length of the extendable probe.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to perform an atraumatic biopsy, and also, without removing the needle from one puncture, to collect material from different points around the inserted needle within a radius of 1.0–1.5 cm, which will ensure maximum coverage of surrounding tissues without making additional punctures.
