FIELD: natural gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: production and treatment of natural gas for long-distance transport, in particular to management of the gas drying process at the gas treatment facility of the Cenomanian deposits of oil and gas condensate fields (OGCF) in the North of the Russian Federation. The method for automatically distributing the load between gas drying trains (GDT) at a gas treatment plant includes an automated process control system (APCS), which controls the productivity of the gas drying shop (GDS) in accordance with the task entered by the dispatch service for the gas treatment plant. After putting it into operation, the automated process control system ensures that the gas treatment plant reaches the planned flow rate of dried gas Qplan and then supports its implementation using dried gas flow control valves (CV) installed at the outlet of each GDT. To do this, the APCS transmits to the SD input of each dried gas flowrate PID controller at the GDT a single signal of the planned task for the treatment of dried gas Qplan for the gas treatment plant, and to the PV input of these PID controllers – a single signal of the actual flowrate of the dried gas through the gas treatment plant. As a result of processing these signals, each of the PID controllers for controlling the flow of dried gas generates a signal transmitted to the dried gas flow CVs of the GDT controlled by it. At the same time, the APCS carries out individual monitoring of the actual dew point temperature and compares it with the target required by the standards. APCS switches from the standard control mode to the auxiliary one using the dry gas flow correction unit of the i-th GDT. This block, in the normal control mode, in an unchanged form, transmits the control signal arriving at its input I1 from the CV output of the i-th PID controller for maintaining dry gas flowrate to the dry gas flowrate CV.

EFFECT: ensuring the specified degree of gas drying at a gas treatment facility with minimal energy and material costs while complying with all standards and restrictions on the technological parameters of the process, the specified quality of gas preparation for long-distance transport is ensured by all GDTs thanks to continuous individual consideration of the influence of the actual state of their equipment on the processes performed by them.
