FIELD: natural gas treatment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of natural gas treatment for long-distance transport used for automatic control of the gas drying process at complex gas treatment units - CGTUs in the Far North of the Russian Federation. The method for automatically controlling the gas drying process includes monitoring, by means of an automated process control system - APCS of the pressure and temperature of the raw gas, pressure, temperature, flow rate and dew point temperature of the dried gas. The APCS ensures automatic maintenance of the supply of regenerated absorbent to the absorber, taking into account the flow rate of the produced gas, the moisture content of the incoming and dried gas, the concentration of the regenerated and saturated absorbent. The APCS also controls the mass flow of the absorbent and analyzes the dynamics of the behavior of the actual flow of the regenerated absorbent Ga relative to the calculated flow of the regenerated absorbent Gfl according to the production process model. Based on the analysis results, the APCS controls the flow of regenerated absorbent supplied to the multifunctional absorber.

EFFECT: ensuring automatic maintenance of the gas preparation mode for long-distance transport at the CGTU.
