FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: antifriction polymatrix composite is disclosed, made of a carbon fibre-reinforced epoxy matrix comprising molybdenum disulphide on the friction surface, with a system of polymer elements moulded flush into it so that they uniformly cover the entire friction surface of the antifriction composite. The system of polymer elements is made of dispersed acetal resin filled with molybdenum disulphide in the ratio (5÷10)% by weight of acetal resin. Polymer elements made of acetal resin are made in the form of truncated cones or rhombic pyramids with a base on the opposite side of the friction surface of the antifriction composite.
EFFECT: reduced coefficient of friction with a simultaneous increase in the load capacity of products made from the inventive antifriction composite through the use of dispersed acetal resin filled with molybdenum or tungsten disulphide with a compressive strength of up to 100 MPa for a system of polymer elements uniformly moulded into a carbon fibre frame with implementation in the composite compressive strength up to 350 MPa.
