FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to friction units of hydraulic machines, propeller shafts and others operating under high loads. Method for manufacturing a bearing of a sliding bearing made of fiber-reinforced epoxy plastic with a system of cylindrical elements made of polytetrafluoroethylene embedded in it, fixed by means of notches and bending in plastic, and these elements uniformly cover the entire friction surface of the liner. System of cylindrical elements of polytetrafluoroethylene is preliminarily exposed to low-temperature low-pressure plasma of high frequency (40 kHz – 13.56 MHz) in an atmosphere of a working gas selected from filtered air, argon or nitrogen, at a pressure in the working chamber from 5 to 100 Pa, flow of working gas from 7 to 125 cm3/min, discharge power from 100 to 800 W and processing time from 20 to 300 s.
EFFECT: insert obtained by this method has an increased load capacity and reliability in operation.
