FIELD: hydrocarbon reforming.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a process for recovering C3/C4 hydrocarbons from a reforming stream (28). The method includes: separation in the first separation zone (14) of the product (28) of the reforming zone containing H2, C4- hydrocarbons and C5+ hydrocarbons, including aromatic compounds, with formation of a dry gas-phase stream (34) containing C6- hydrocarbons and H2 and liquid phase hydrocarbon stream (36) containing C5+ including aromatic compounds; separating in the second separation zone (16) of the dry gas phase stream (34) with formation of the first H2 rich stream (74) and a gas stream (76) that contains H2 and C4- hydrocarbons; cooling of the gas stream (76) to a temperature of 15.6 to 71.1°C (60 to 160°F) to form a cooled gas stream (84); cooling liquid-phase hydrocarbon stream (36) to a temperature of 15.6 to 71.1°C (60 to 160°F) to form a cooled liquid phase hydrocarbon stream (88); and absorbing C3/C4 hydrocarbons from the cooled gas stream (84) by the cooled liquid phase hydrocarbon stream (88) in the absorption zone (18) to form a fuel gas stream (94) and a C3/C4 rich liquid phase hydrocarbon stream (92).

EFFECT: use of the present invention provides devices and methods for reforming hydrocarbons with improved recovery of products from the products of the reforming reactor.
