FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing microwave waveguides from a polymer composite material. A method for manufacturing a waveguide of complex geometry from a polymer composite material (PCM) consists of pre-coating the tooling with a release agent, laying out a conductive layer, and then moulding the PCM waveguide on the tooling. The equipment is made of an elastomer with a high thermal coefficient of linear expansion (TCLE), capable of changing its geometric shape without changing the cross-sectional shape. After creating the current-conducting layer, the tooling with PCM is placed in a matrix made of metal with a TCLE lower than that of the elastomer of the tooling, the shape of the channel of which follows the external geometry of the waveguide, the matrix is closed with lids and tightened with fasteners, the structure thus obtained is polymerized, after which the waveguide is removed from the matrix, and from the waveguide, equipment made of elastomer.

EFFECT: simplification of manufacture of a waveguide from PCM of complex geometry and simplification of removal of equipment from it.
