FIELD: dentistry; clinical laboratory diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the results of dental implantation in young people with diabetes. The level of expression of signalling molecules – occludin, E-cadherin and β-tubulin – is evaluated. Based on the results, taking into account the patient’s age and type of diabetes, an unfavourable outcome of dental implantation is predicted.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of predicting the results of dental implantation, reduced percentage of unsuccessful operations, establishing the likelihood of complications and adjusting treatment and preventive measures by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
