At average fluorescence intensity MFI is more than 110.0×103 units, insulin resistance syndrome is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method enables early diagnosis of insulin resistance syndrome in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus by assessing the level of intracellular lipids by determining MFI of the lipophilic dye Nile Red in monocytes.
