FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dental surgery and maxillofacial surgery. Soft tissues are collected from the hard palate of a free gingival transplant in form of a flap containing the epithelium, a plate from the autogenous tissue of the hard palate and the fat layer. After the soft tissues are collected on the hard palate, the fat layer is removed from the inner side of the transplant. The flap is further formed into a rectangular shape corresponding with the recipient region of the jawbone of the patient. The submucosal-periosteal tissues are preliminarily separated in the recipient area. The formed flap of the free gingival transplant is mobilised in the prepared recipient area so that the entire lower surface thereof aligns with the jaw bone. Formed flap of the free gingival transplant is therein fixed directly on the jaw bone of the patient using bone pins.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce injury rate of the donor site, to improve acceptance of the flap of the free gingival transplant, to ensure durability of the clinical result, to create a fixed gingival cuff in the area of the implants, to facilitate personal and professional oral hygiene procedures.
