FIELD: medicine; surgical dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in dental implantation. A canal is prepared in the area of the proposed operation with a pilot cutter with diameter of 1.5–2 mm to depth of 8 to 10 mm, depending on the volume of bone tissue. A device consisting of a threaded part with diameter of 2 mm and length of 8 mm or 10 mm, depending on the bone conditions, with a fixed MultiPeg pin having an Implant Stability Quotient (ISQ) calibration is screwed into the canal. After that, frequency-resonance index is measured by Penguin RFA apparatus in ISQ scale on MultiPeg, and if the stability of the device is from 25 to 62 ISQ, the probable stability after installation of the dental implant in the jaw is determined, corresponding to 70–80 ISQ, this enables to give a positive prognosis of complete osteointegration of the implant.

EFFECT: method, by determining the stability of the dental implant, enables to determine the degree of osteointegration of the implant and is the basis for postponing the dental implantation operation or using the bone tissue compaction technique.
