FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new Unity strain of serotype 2 canine adenovirus, of Adenoviridae family, Mastadenovirus genus, Canine mastadenovirus A species, serotype 2 deposited in the collection of strains of microorganisms of FGBU "ARRIAH" under registration number No. 456 - dep/23-6 — GKSHM FGBI "ARRIAH". The presented strain is reproduced in transplanted cell culture of the Madin-Darby Canine Kidney (MDCK). In a transplanted cell culture of MDCK, within 72 hours of incubation, the titer of infectious activity of the virus reaches 3.75±0.25 lg TCD50/cm3, maintaining the original characteristics when passaged in cell culture for 5 passages.
EFFECT: presented strain can be used for the manufacture of biological products for the diagnostics and specific prevention of serotype 2 canine adenovirus and for the control of the antigenic activity of vaccines against this disease.
