FIELD: medicine; gastroenterology; urology.
SUBSTANCE: channel is made in the calculus with a laser beam preliminarily. A metal conductor with an elastic hook made at its distal end is passed through the channel until the entire hook is on the back side of the calculus. The calculus is grasped with a hook on its back surface when the conductor moves in the opposite direction and removed.
EFFECT: method provides a reduction in the degree of injury to the duct wall during the extraction of the calculus, allows the extraction of large calculi that have not grown into the duct wall, does not require any additional special equipment, and easy to implement.
