FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: mass flowmeter based of Cariolis effect has external rotor with aggregate of windows mounted in sealed housing and with recess in which Cariolis rotor is installed concentric on external rotor. Each window of Cariolis rotor extends from periphery to central zone of rotor and each window of external rotor extends from its periphery to recess of rotor. While liquid flows at least some windows of external rotor are matched with some windows of Cariolis rotor to let liquid pass through housing. Both rotors are mounted for rotation about central axis with passage of liquid medium through windows of rotors. Measurement coils and magnets allow output signals carrying information on value of angular displacement of Cariolis rotor relative to external rotor and on value of mass flow rate to be generated. If flow rate is insignificant for rotation of external rotor motor is used in addition. EFFECT: given flowmeter forms little drop o pressure, ensures increased accuracy of measurement of mass flow rate of various fluid media within wide range thanks to exclusion of action of external effects on Cariolis rotor. 29 cl, 19 dwg
