FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instruments for vascular surgery and can be used when performing carotid endarterectomy. A surgical instrument with tactile feedback for carrying out carotid endarterectomy contains two jaws, equipped at the ends with working jaws with teeth. Branches are made hollow and equipped with finger locks and haptic platforms. Haptic platforms are made in the form of holes in the inner walls of the branches, to which springy plates of the branches are attached, each of which has denticles attached. Each of the jaws is provided with a hole, springy sponge plates are attached to the holes, each of which has teeth attached. Tubes are laid and rigidly fixed through the branches, inside each of which there is a movable flexible rod. The tubes with one edge are located strictly above the springy plates of the jaws, and the opposite ends are placed directly under the springy plates of the jaws. Flexible rods at one end are in contact with the springy plates of the jaws, and at the other with the springy plates of the jaws with the possibility of movement inside the tube in case of displacement of the springy plates.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to minimize the risk of injury to the carotid artery during the operation and to reduce the time of carotid endarterectomy.
