SURGICAL SUCTION FORCEPS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B17/30

Abstract RU 2780286 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manual gripping tools for work in medicine, namely, in surgical operations on blood vessels, the heart, operations associated with increased release of biological fluids. Surgical aspiration tweezers contain two rigidly connected springy jaws at the base of the tweezers, which have gripping jaws at the opposite end. On the working gripping jaws, symmetrical, trough-like blood flows are machined longitudinally, when they close, a single aspiration channel is formed, and the suction part of the closed aspiration channel is displayed on the inside of one jaw of the tweezers in the form of a single channel due to the deepening of the trough in one of the branches and the elevation of the trough in the other branch until completely aligned with the plane of the inner surface of the other branch. A single channel is made with a hole for a finger in one of the branches, to control the power of aspiration and with the subsequent through removal of the outlet to the springy part of the tweezers, which is connected to the tube of the aspirator pump.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to reduce the time of surgery on the vessels, the heart and any areas with increased fluid production by eliminating the need to change one device to another; expansion of the visual and manipulation field of surgical intervention, by reducing the number of surgical instruments used; the possibility of independently carrying out individual stages of the operation in space-limited areas without the help of an assistant due to the combined function of one instrument; ease of maintenance and sterilization of the instrument, due to the openness of the aspiration channel.
