FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to cardiovascular surgery. A transverse intersection of the common carotid artery CCA is performed from its medial wall to the lateral, with the extension of the incision to the lateral wall of the internal carotid artery of the ICA to the upper pole of the atherosclerotic plaque. An atherosclerotically altered CCA fragment is resected. An eversion endarterectomy from the bifurcation of the CCA is performed, ICA and external carotid artery NSA with complete visualization and removal of atherosclerotic plaque. After its removal, the CCA and ICA are returned to their original position and the redundant edges of the CCA and ICA are segmentally resected. Then, an end-to-end prosthesis is performed, with the upper edge of the prosthesis being congruent with the CCA and ICA walls.

EFFECT: method allows to perform treatment for patients with combined carotid artery damage with high efficiency, to reduce the risk of neurological deficiency and occlusions of the reconstructed section of the CCA and ICA.
