SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict early thrombotic complications after operations on the abdominal aorta and aorto-iliac segment. Before surgery, the initial level of peripheral venous blood D-dimer is determined. Intraoperatively, before the aorta is clamped and anticoagulants are administered, the level of D-dimer in blood taken from the aorta is determined. For values D1:D2≥1.5, where D1 is the level of D-dimer of blood taken from the aorta; D2 is the initial level of D-dimer in peripheral venous blood; early thrombotic complications are predicted.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of intraoperative quantitative assessment of the risk of developing intra- and early postoperative thrombotic complications in patients undergoing operations on the abdominal aorta and aortoiliac segment by determining the level of initial D-dimer in peripheral venous blood and intraoperative D-dimer in blood taken from the aorta.
