SUBSTANCE: use of a catheter for creating an isolated area in a hollow organ of a mammal for treating bleeding into the cavity of the esophagus or intestines, as well as for treating a fistula in the abdominal esophagus wall, treating a fistula in the jejunum wall, treating a fistula in the ileum wall, treatment of a fistula of the cecum wall or treatment of a fistula of the colon wall. In accordance with the first option, for the treatment of bleeding into the cavity of the esophagus or intestines, as well as for the treatment of the fistula of the wall of the abdominal esophagus, the treatment of the fistula of the jejunal wall, the treatment of the fistula of the ileum wall, the treatment of the fistula of the cecum wall or the treatment of the fistula of the colon wall, a catheter is used, designed to create an isolated area in a hollow organ of a mammal and containing an elongated body, made with the possibility of its installation in the lumen of a hollow organ of a mammal and equipped with two cylinders, made with the possibility of inflating to provide the possibility of creating an isolated space of a hollow organ between them. In the elongated body, a functional channel passes with a functional hole made in the elongated body between the cylinders. The functional channel provides the possibility of creating a negative pressure in the isolated space with the possibility of taking a fluid or gaseous medium from it through the functional hole or the possibility of supplying a medical fluid or gaseous medium to the isolated space through the functional hole. In the elongated body, another channel passes, provided at opposite ends, respectively, with inlet and outlet openings made in the elongated body outside its part limited by the cylinders. In accordance with the second option, for the treatment of bleeding into the cavity of the esophagus or intestines, as well as for the treatment of the fistula in the abdominal esophagus wall, the treatment of the fistula in the jejunal wall, the treatment of the fistula in the ileum wall, the treatment of the fistula in the cecum wall or the treatment of the fistula in the colon wall, a catheter is used, designed to create an isolated area in a hollow organ of a mammal, in which, in addition to the above, the elongated body is provided with a mesh or sheath made permeable to a fluid and/or gaseous medium, and the mesh or sheath at least partially encloses the part of the catheter limited by the cylinders, providing coverage functional opening and attached to the cylinders or covers them in such a way that their inflation allows the mesh or sheath to be stretched. In accordance with the third option, for the treatment of bleeding into the cavity of the esophagus or intestines, as well as for the treatment of the fistula in the abdominal wall of the esophagus, the treatment of the fistula in the jejunal wall, the treatment of the fistula in the ileum wall, the treatment of the fistula in the cecum wall or the treatment of the fistula in the colon wall, a catheter is used, designed to create an isolated area in the hollow organ of a mammal, in which, in addition to the first option described above, the functional hole is located between two annular enclosing protrusions with which the catheter body is provided between the cylinders.

EFFECT: in the first, second and third variants of the invention, the catheter used to create an isolated area in the hollow organ of a mammal provides a technical result consisting in preventing or eliminating the possibility of the formation of congestive and/or inflammatory processes in the hollow organ in the form of the abdominal esophagus, jejunum, ileum, caecum or colon due, in particular, to the accumulation in this hollow organ of mucus and other biological contents specific to said hollow organ outside one of the inflated insulating cylinders.
