SUBSTANCE: device for measuring the magnetic characteristics of ferromagnets contains a core made of an amorphous magnetic tape with high magnetic permeability and low coercive force, having a rectangular or square cross section and overall dimensions that determine the demagnetizing shape factor, which allows the value of the magnetic field strength magnetizing coils and the tangential component of the stray magnetic field strength above the surface of a ferromagnet to determine the value of its magnetization in the local region.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the magnitude of the magnetization of the controlled ferromagnet.
