FIELD: nuclear energy.
SUBSTANCE: production and control of fuel elements (hereinafter referred to as fuel elements), and can be used at nuclear energy facilities. A replaceable centring device for fuel rods with winding of a spacer wire or tape contains a centring sleeve with an entry cone installed in the housing. The sleeve is installed with the possibility of radial rotation into the inner race of the bearing fixed in a housing with a quick-release cover. The inner surface of the sleeve is profiled in the form of alternating protrusions and depressions, and the inner diameter of the sleeve is made corresponding to the diameter of the fuel rod pipe and is formed by the internal projections of the profiled inner surface of the sleeve. The diameter of the sleeve at the bases of the protrusions is greater than twice the sum of the radius of the fuel rod and the diameter of the spacer wire, and the distance between the protrusions is greater than the width of the spacer tape.
EFFECT: invention enables control of fuel rods by winding a spacer wire or tape.
