FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices of cavitation type for use as mixers of various liquids, dispersion of solid inclusions in liquids, destruction of molecular bonds in complex liquids, change of physical and mechanical properties and biological activity of liquids. Hydrodynamic cavitator includes housing 1 made in the form of a pipe, waveguides 2 in the form of pipelines of different length, which connect housing 1 with discharge nozzle 3 of vane pump 4, on tongue 5 of which there is plank 6, which sets radial gap 7 to impeller 9. On housing 1 along its length there are squeezing couplings 11 for formation of sections of increased rigidity without possibility of radial movement of the housing wall in the place of coupling installation at movement of elastic wave inside the housing. Walls of sections of housing 1 between couplings 11 are made with possibility of radial movement.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at enabling operation of the hydrodynamic cavitator at technological processes with nominal frequencies greater than 1200 Hz.
