FIELD: lifting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention describes a series-parallel monorail lift based on a hybrid diesel-electric motor and a method for controlling it. A monorail lift includes a cabin, a hydraulic drive system, a lifting beam, a gear train, an energy storage system and an adaptive speed control system connected in series with each other and moving along a rail track. The monorail lift can use separate electric motor or diesel engine drive in energy-saving mode, hybrid electric motor and diesel engine drive in transport mode, and hybrid diesel engine and flywheel energy storage drive in lifting mode, according to different operating conditions, which include lifting, lowering and loading conditions.
EFFECT: it is possible to meet the electricity demand of a monorail lift under various operating conditions, with excess energy being recovered during the movement to achieve energy savings and reduced emissions.
