On axial, coronary, sagittal projections, the severity of the complicated course of diverticular disease of the colon is assessed, and when visualizing the thickening of the intestinal wall of the colon more than 0.7 cm, the extent of inflammatory changes in the intestinal wall of the colon is more than 9.2 cm, the length of the inflammatory infiltration of pericolic fiber is more than 3.1 cm, diagnose the presence of microperforation of the wall of the diverticulum of the colon. When visualizing abscesses, fistulas and free gas, the presence of macroperforation of the wall of the colon diverticulum is diagnosed.
