SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to surgery, radiology, coloproctology, gastroenterology, oncology, and can be used for differential diagnosis of diverticular disease and malignant tumors of the colon. A CT scan with contrast is performed. At the same time, perfusion computed tomography of the colon is performed. First, scanning is carried out in native mode. In this case, the upper border passes at the level of the diaphragm, the lower border along the lower contour of the sciatic tubercles, the lateral borders along the outer contour of soft tissues. The study is carried out first without, then with intravenous amplification. The volume of the contrast agent is calculated at the rate of 0.3 g of iodine per 1 kg of the mass of the subject. On native images, sections are marked for subsequent perfusion scanning of the colon: the initial section of the scan corresponds to the section of the colon area of interest, the final section corresponds to the level of the end of the zone of interest. Then, the regional blood flow velocity (BF), the volume of regional blood flow (BV), and the average blood flow transit time (MTT) are determined in the image. At values of BF 26.4 ± 1.9 ml/100 g/ min, BV 53±4.9 ml/100 g and MTT 7±1.6 s, diverticular disease complicated by diverticulitis is diagnosed. At values of BF 111±7.2 ml/100 g /min, BV 78± 3.9 ml/100 g and MTT 10.8±0.9 s, colon adenocarcinoma is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of differential diagnosis of diseases of the colon of inflammatory and tumor genesis by determining quantitative indicators of regional blood flow.
